Abstract


Abstract: The Using of Model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with Media Concrete in Improving the Science learning at The third Grade of State Elementary School. The purposes of this research are to describe the using of  model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with media concrete in improving the science learning about energy at the third grade of state elementary school, to describe improving the science learning about energy the using of model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with media concrete at the third grade of state elementary school, and to describe obstacle and solution the using model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with media concrete in improving science learning about energy at the third grade of state elementary school. This research was collaborative classroom action research. The experiment was conducted in third cycles and each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of research were students at the third grade of elementary school. The techniques collecting data used observation, interviews, and tests. The validity of the data used triangulation. The result of research could concluded that the using of model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with media concrete could improve the science learning at the third grade state elementary school.

Abstrak: Penggunaan Model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan Media Konkret dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPA Siswa Kelas III SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan media konkret dalam peningkatan pembelajaran IPA tentang energi siswa kelas III SD, mendeskripsikan peningkatan pembelajaran IPA tentang energi dengan penggunaan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan media konkret siswa kelas III SD, dan mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi penggunaan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan media konkret dalam peningkatan pembelajaran  IPA tentang energi siswa kelas III SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaborasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan media konkret dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA siswa  kelas III SD.
