Abstract


ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dengan media bermain twitter pada mata pelajaran akuntansi kelas XI UPW 2 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek utama penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI UPW 2 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan angket. Uji validitas data menggunakan validitas isi dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan empat tahap yang saling berkaitan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dengan media bermain twitter dapat meningkatkan minat belajar akuntansi siswa. Minat belajar siswa meningkat dari pratindakan (42,86%), siklus I (65,71%), dan siklus II (77,78%). Pada siklus I siswa mulai tertarik dan antusias mempelajari materi pelajaran akuntansi secara kelompok namun indikator keberhasilan penelitian belum tercapai. Siklus II siswa yang berminat lebih tinggi daripada siklus I, siswa semakin aktif dan bekerjasama dalam pembelajaran kelompok. Pada siklus II telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan.

Simpulan yang dapat diambil melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dengan media bermain twitter dapat meningkatkan minat belajar akuntansi siswa kelas XI UPW 2 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research are to improve the student's learning interest through cooperative learning model in the type of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) using a play media twitter on accounting subject in class XI Business Travel Program 2 of State Vocational Secondary School 6 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2013/2014.
This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR). The primary subjects of the research were the students as many as 35 Grade XI of Business Travel Program 2 of State Vocational Secondary School 6 of Surakarta. The data collection is done through observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The Validity test of the data used content validity and triangulation techniques. The Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The research procedure used four interrelated stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.

The result shows that cooperative learning model in the type of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) using twitter as a play media can improve the student’s interest in learning accounting. Student’s interest in the pre-action (42.86%.), the first cycle (65.71%), the second cycle (77.78%). In the first cycle the students became interested and enthusiastic to learn accounting in a group but the indicator of the success of the study has not yet been reached. The second cycle shows that the students who are interested is higher than the first cycle, the students become more active and work together within the group. In the second cycle has achieved the indicators of success.

The Conclusions that can be drawn through cooperative learning model in the type of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) using twitter as a play media can improve student’s interest in learning accounting in the class XI Business Travel Program 2 of State Vocational Secondary School 6 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2013/2014.
