PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS TEGAK BERSAMBUNG MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA BUKU TULIS HALUS

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to increase the cursive writing skill through the use of handwriting book media in the 2nd grade students of SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta in academic year of 2015/2016.The type of this research was a class action research conducted in three cycles. Every cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were the 2nd grade students of SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta which were 30 students. The techniques of data collection which were used were observation, interview, documentation, and test. The data analysis of this research used the model of interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing the conclusion. The result of this class action research revealed that the cursive writing skill through the use of handwriting book media in the 2nd grade students of SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta in academic year of 2015/2016. The increase can be proved by the increase in the students’ classical mastery beginning from the pre-action, cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. The conclusion of this research revealed that the use of handwriting book media could increase the cursive writing skill in the 2nd grade students of SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta in academic year of 2015/2016..

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung melalui penggunaan media buku tulis halus pada siswa kelas II SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD Negeri Bumi I Surakrta yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung dapat meningkat melalui penggunaan media buku tulis halus pada siswa kelas II SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta tahun ajaran 2015/. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya ketuntasan klasikal siswa mulai dari pratindakan, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III..Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui penggunaan media buku tulis halus dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung pada siswa kelas II SD Negeri Bumi I Surakarta tahun ajaran 2015/2016.
