Abstract


Abstract: The purpose of this research is to increase of force concept understanding with Scientific Approach by applying the problem based learning model. This reseach was a classroom action research that conducted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The technique of collecting data incluced observation, interview, test and documentation. The techniques of data analysis used analytical interactive model that consists of three components, they are data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The validity of the data source using triangulation source triangulation methods. The conclusion of the research is Scientific Approach through Problem Based Learning model can increase the force concept understanding of the 4th grade students in 01 Bolon elementary school.

 

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman konsep gaya dengan Scientific Approach melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learnimg. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tiap siklus terdiri perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah Scientific Approach melalui Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep gaya  pada siswa kelas IV SDN 01 Bolon.
