PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIME TOKEN ARENDS BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SUMBER DAYA ALAM
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to increase understanding of the concept natural resources using cooperative learning model type Time Token Arends based Problem Based Learning. This research used the classroom action research methods. The research process is conducted in two cycles. Every cycle consists of four stages, that is: Action planning: The implementation of the action; Observation, and Reflection. Data is collected by using is: Documentation; Observation; Interview, and Test. To test the validity of data, researchers used triangulation of data sources and triangulation methods. The data is analyzed by using an interactive analysis model, it consists of three component, that are: Data reduction; Display data, and Taking the conclucion. Based on result of the research, This can be proofed by the increased percentage of student understanding of the concept in the first cycle and second cycle. Increased understanding of the concept is proofed by the average values obtained before action (precycle) is 61.08 with 22% percentage completeness. In the first cycle, the average grade increased to 71.5 with 70% percentage completeness. After the second cycle of the action class average value increased to 79.5 with 91% percentage completeness. it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type Time Token Arends based Problem Based Learning can improve the understanding of the concept natural resources.
