PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BEREKSPERIMEN PESAWAT SEDERHANA MELALUI TEKNIK PEMBELAJARAN TWO STAY TWO STRAY PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Abstract: The objective of the research is to improve the competence of simple machine experiment of fifth grade elementary school students at Bumi 1 State Elementary School No.67 Surakarta. The participant were 30 student of fifth grade consisting of 17 males and 13 females.Type of this research was classroom action research with three cycle,  The collected data is the result of the observation of the student experiment competence, the result of observation of teacher’s performance, the result of interview with teacher and student and documentation of learning process. The analysis of data uses interactive model. The results of the research are the competence of simple aircraft experiment improving in the first cycle is 43,33% students considered as competence, the second cycle is 61,66% students considered as competence, and the third cycle is 88,46% students considered as competence. According to the result of the research, it can be concluded that the application of learning techniques two stay two stray (TSTS) can improve the competence of experimenting simple machine. Based on the result of this research, Two Stay Two Stray teaching techniques could improve the competence of simple machines of fifth grade student of Bumi 1 State Primary School No.67 Surakarta inacademic 2017/2018.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bereksperimen pesawat sederhana siswa kelas lima SDN Bumi 1 No.67 Surakarta.Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 siswa yang terdiri dari 17 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus.Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah hasil observasi keterampilan bereksperimen siswa, hasil observasi kinerja guru, hasil wawancara guru dan siswa dan dokumentasi proses pembelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian yaitu keterampilan bereksperimen pesawat sederhana meningkat dalam siklus I sebesar 43,33% siswa dinyatakan terampil, siklus II sebesar 61,66% siswa dinyatakan terampil , dan siklus III sebesar 88,46% siswa dinyatakan terampil. berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bereksperimen pesawat sederhana. Kesimpulan dari penelitian  ini teknik pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray  dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bereksperimen pesawat sederhana pada siswa kelas V SD N Bumi 1 No.67 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2017/2019.
