PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONCEPT SENTENCE DENGAN MEDIA FLASH CARD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Abstract : The objective of this research is to improve poetry-writing skill through the  concept sentence learning  model by using flash card media for fifith grade of state elementary school of laweyan, surakarta in academis year 2016/ 2017. The subject of the research were are a student and 25 students in Grade V of the school in Academic 2016/2017. The data of the research were collected through in-depth interview, observation, test, and documentation. They were analyzed by using the interactive models of analysis which compreses four components, namely: data gathering, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The data were validated by using the data source and data collection triangulations technique. This research used the classroom activity research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of the research shows that the application Concept Sentence Learning Model with Flash Card could improve writing-poetry skill of the students in Grade V of State Primary School of Laweyan, Surakarta in Academic Year 2016/2017. Prior to the treatments, the students’ minimal completeness is 32%. Followed by the treatments using  the concept sentence learning model with flash card media, it became 58% in cycle I and 80% in cycle II.  Thus, the Concept Sentence Learning Model with Flash Card could improve poetry-writting skill of student in fifith grade of state elementary school of Laweyan, Surakarta in Academic Year 2016/2017.

 

Abstrak : Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi melalui model pembelajaran concept sentence dengan media flashcard. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian siswa kelas V terdiri dari 25 Siswa.  Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, pengamatan, tes dan kajian dokumen. Untuk menguji validitas data, digunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis interaktif yang terdiri dri empat komponen yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian dilaksankan dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu (1) perencanaan (2) pelaksanaan (3) Observasi ( 4) Refleksi Tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan  bahwa penerapan model concept sentence dengan media flash card dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri di Laweyan Surkarta tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Pada kondisi awal sebelum tindakan, ketuntasan siswa prasiklus sebesar 32%. Dengan Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal 70. Setelah penggunaan model pembelajaran concept sentence dengan media flashcard pada siklus I ketuntasan siswa meningkat menjadi 58%, selanjutnya pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80%.  Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpukan bahwa  Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Concept Sentence dengan Media Flash Card dapat meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi pada Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Totosari 102 Kota Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2016/ 2017.
