PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) DENGAN MEDIA KONKRET UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS MEMBUAT RELIEF PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas membuat relief dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan media konkret yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas membuat relief pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Kateguhan 02 Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu : tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini adalah saya sebagai peneliti, siswa kelas VA dan guru kelas VA SD Negeri kateguhan 02. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan keesimpulan. Indikator kinerja penelitian ini yaitu penerapan model CTL dengan media konkret dan peningkatan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa 85%. Prosedur penelitian dalam bentuk siklus berulang yang terdapat tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CTL dengan media konkret dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Pada siklus I Kreativitas siswa mencapai 71,75%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,75%, dan siklus III meningkat menjadi 85,25%. Hasil karya membuat relief siklus I siswa yang tuntas 8%, siklus II 60% dan siklus III 100%. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa setiap siklus selalu mengalami peningkatan dan semua indikator kinerja tercapai

Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model CTL dengan media konkret dapat meningkatkan kreativitas membuat relief pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Kateguhan 02 tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

 The objective of the research is to advance the creativity on relief making subject through the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model by employing concrete media which may increase the creativity on the relief making subject for VA degree students in SD NegeriKateguhan 02 during the academic year 2016/2017. The research is a Classroom Action Research.

The Classroom Action Research is conducted in three cycles. In every cycles, there are four steps, including planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of the research are VA degree students in SD NegeriKateguhan 02. The data of the research are taken from observation, interview, and documentation. To assure validity of the data, triangulation method is employed.Interactive analysis which includes data collection, data reduction, serving the data and drawing a conclusion is also applied.The indicator of the research is the implementation of CTL model through concrete media and the development of the creativity and the study results which is 85%. The research procedure is continually cycles, including planning, acting, observing and reflecting.

The results show that the implementation of CTL model through concrete media advances the creativity of the students. In the first cycle, the students’ creativity reaches 71,75%.In the second cycle, it increases to 80,75%. And in the third cycle, it increases again to 85,25%. In a relief making subject, there are 8% of the students who pass in the first cycle. In the second cycle, there are 60% of the students who pass. Finally, in the third cycle, 100% of the students pass the subject. The data show that all of the cycles make such development. In addition, every indicator is achieved.

To conclude, the implementation of CTL model through concrete media can advance the creativity on relief making subject for the VA degree students in SD NegeriKateguhan 02 during the academic year 2016/2017.
