Abstract


The purpose of learning Indonesian is the success of students in mastering the basic competencies taught. The ability of the teacher to plan learning and assessment is one of the factors in the success of achieving learning objectives. This Classroom Action Research aims to improve the quality of the learning process and the ability to write storytelling texts about environmental damage using the Think Talk Write (TTW) method. This study uses quantitative data in the form of competency test values in KD 4.4 and qualitative data in the form of observations, questionnaires, and interviews about the activities of students following the learning process writing imaginative stories about environmental damage. The data collection technique of this research is documentation, observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data validity is done by data triangulation and methods. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive model analysis technique consisting of three components, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification. The results of the study show that Think Talk Write (TTW) method can improve the quality of the learning process and the ability to write imaginary story texts about environmental damage using the Think Talk Write (TTW) method.
