Abstract


Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' abilities in improving learning outcomes of theme 2 students in Class VI SD Negeri 01 Karanganyar Academic Year 2018/2019 through the implementation of the Inquiry Learning Model. The form of this study was classroom action research (PTK) carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were sixth grade students of SD 01 Karanganyar. Data collection techniques carried out were observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive analysis of the technical analysis of Miles and Hubberman's interactive analysis. Improved understanding of the concept is proven by increasing the value of students in each cycle, namely the average value of the concept of multiplying the number of students before the action of 74.44. In the first cycle to 80.60 and in the second cycle to 84.90. Students who obtained the above KKM scores in pre-action had 11 students (33.33%), in the first cycle it increased to 23 students (60.60%), and in the second cycle it increased again to 33 students (100%). the results of the research that has been carried out can be concluded that by implementing the Inquiry Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of the theme II in class VI SD 01 Karanganyar Academic Year 2018/2019.
