Abstract: The research objectives to be achieved are: Describe the activities of teachers and students in the Civics learning process based on cooperative learning type role-playing approach. Describing an increase in Civics learning outcomes in class III of SD Negeri 3 Mojoagung through a cooperative learning model of roleplaying
type. The subject of the study was the third-grade students of the first semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. Place of implementation of learning improvements in SD Negeri 3 Mojoagung, Karangrayung District, Grobogan Regency. The implementation of learning improvements is carried out in two stages: a.
Precycle on Wednesday, August 16, 2016. b. Cycle I on Wednesday, September 6, 2016. c. Cycle II on Art day, October 02, 2016. Research Procedure: The implementation of learning begins with the initial learning. The implementation is carried out three times, namely early learning (pre-cycle), the cycle I, and cycle II. Each consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. and the results of reflection in cycle II are: Almost all students are actively involved in role-playing. In group discussions, almost all students are active and good cooperation is created in completing tasks. Learning evaluation results have been good although there is still one student whose grades are below the KKM. But the average score is above the KKM, which is 90 and the level of completeness is 96%. Thus the improvement of Civics learning in class III in the first semester at SD Negeri 3 Mojoagung, Karangrayung Subdistrict, Grobogan District through cooperative learning through the model of role-playing is considered sufficient. This is evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes or the results of the evaluation of the average value above KKM which is 80 and 96% completeness
