PENINGKATAN MENYIMAK BERITA DENGAN PENDEKATAN KOOPERATIF TIPE CONCEPT SENTENCE DAN TEKNIK MIND MAPPING PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Abstact: Ability to conclude the content of news in the 6th grade of SD N 2 Karangaryung is still low only 5 students who complete KKM 60. This is caused by (1) less creative learning, (2) students are saturated and passive, (3) approach and learning technique less appropriate. Actions are used as an effort to improve learning outcomes listening to the content of news and student behavior, namely the conceptual approach concept of conception and mind mapping techniques. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the improvement of news listening after using cooperative approach type concept approach and mind mapping technique and behavior change of grade 6 students of SD N 2 Karangrayung. This research type is Class Action Research (PTK) which executed in SD N 2 Karangrayung Grobogan. (2) the value of listening to news content, (3) books, (4) journals, (5) observation note, while the data sources of this research are (1) ) learning activities to listen to news, (2) students and teachers of class VI in SD N 2 Karangrayung. This study requires two cycles. The data were collected by using test and non-test techniques, then analyzed by quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results of this study obtained the value of listening to news content and changes in student behavior. In Prasiklus only obtained averages of 50.31. Cycle I was obtained averages of 58.75 and only some of the student behavior changed in a positive direction. In cycle II, the average was 76,86 and almost all students were positive. The increase from pre-cycle to cycle I is 8.44. Meanwhile, the increase of cycle I to cycle II amounted to 18.11 and all students who succeeded in achieving KKM.

Abstrak: Kemampuan menyimpulkan isi berita di kelas VI SD N 2 Karangaryung masih rendah hanya 5 siswa yang tuntas KKM 60. Hal ini disebabkan oleh (1) pembelajaran kurang kreatif, (2) siswa jenuh dan pasif, (3) pendekatan dan teknik pembelajaran kurang sesuai. Tindakan yang digunakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar menyimak isi berita dan perilaku siswa, yaitu dengan pendekatan kooperatif tipe concept sentence dan teknik mind mapping. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mendeskripsi peningkatan menyimak berita setelah menggunakan pendekatan kooperatif tipe concept sentence dan teknik mind mapping dan perubahan perilaku siswa kelas VI SD N 2 Karangrayung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SD N 2 Karangrayung Grobogan. pelaksanaanya mulai Maret sampai dengan April 2016. Data penelitian ini berupa(1) perangkat pembelajaran, (2) nilai menyimak isi berita, (3) buku, (4) jurnal, (5) catatan observasi, sedangkan sumber data penelitian ini berupa (1) kegiatan pembelajaran menyimak berita, (2) siswa dan guru kelas VI di SD N 2 Karangrayung. Penelitian ini memerlukan dua siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan nontes, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan teknik kuantitatif dan teknik kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh peingkatan nilai menyimak isi berita dan perubahan perilaku siswa. Pada prasiklus hanya diperoleh rerata sebesar 50,31. Siklus I diperoleh rerata sebesar 58,75 dan hanya sebagian perilaku siswa berubah ke arah positif. Pada siklus II diperoleh rerata sebesar 76,86 dan hampir semua siswa berperilaku positif. Adapun peningkatannya dari prasiklus ke siklus I sebesar 8,44. Sementara itu, peningkatan siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 18,11 dan semua siswa yang berhasil mencapai KKM.
