PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN PENDEKATAN RME PADA SISWA KELAS 5 SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve the mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the RME approach to 5th graders of Sumberejo 01 Primary School in the first semester of the lesson year 2017/2018. This class action research (PTK) uses the model of Stephen Kemmis and Rotin Mc. Taggart which consists of 2 cycles which each cycle is divided into planning, execution and reflection. This research is conducted on FPB and KPK materials. Data collection techniques with questionnaire and test observation methods. This research uses teacher and student observation sheets to measure the implementation of RME and tests to measure achievement of learning outcomes. The results showed that the average increase of class in cycle I (71.05%) to cycle II (85.78%) with the percentage of 47% completeness to 79%. Based on these results it was concluded that RME can improve the learning outcomes of students of grade 5 Sumberejo State Elementary School 01

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan pendekatan RME pada siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sumberejo 01 semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini menggunakan model Stephen Kemmis dan Rotin Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terbagi atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi. PTK ini dilakukan pada materi FPB dan KPK. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi angket dan tes. PTK ini menggunakan lembar observasi guru dan siswa untuk mengukur keterlaksanaan penerapan RME dan tes untuk mengukur pencapaian hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kenaikan rata-rata kelas di siklus I (71,05%) ke siklus II (85,78%) dengan persentase ketuntasan 47% menjadi 79%.Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa RME dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sumberejo 01.
