Abstract


ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa melalui media komik dalam strategi pembelajaran preview question read reflect recite review (PQ4R) pada mata pelajaran akuntansi kelas XI IPS 5 SMA XYZ. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek utama penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMA XYZ yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, metode pengamatan dan metode wawancara. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data model interaktif. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan empat tahap yang saling berkaitan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui media komik dalam strategi pembelajaran preview question read reflect recite review (PQ4R) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pada siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III. Simpulan yang dapat diambil melalui media komik dalam strategi pembelajaran PQ4R dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMA XYZ.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research are to improve the learning achievement in Accounting through comic media in the learning strategy of preview question read reflect recite review (PQ4R) of the students in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School. This research used the classroom action research. The primary subjects of the research were the students as many as 30 in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School. The data of the research were gathered through test, observation, and in-depth interview. The data of the research were validated by using the data triangulation and the technique triangulation. They were then analyzed by using the interactive model of analysis. The procedures of the research included four interrelated phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of the research shows that the media comic in the learning strategy of PQ4R can improve the learning achievement in Accounting of the students Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School in Cycles I, II, and III. Based on the result of the research, a conclusion is drawn that the use of the comic media in the learning strategy of PQ4R can improve the learning achievement in Accounting of the students in in Grade XI of Social Science Program 5 of State Senior Secondary School.
