Abstract


The purpose of this study were: 1) To describe the application of the Demonstration Method to increase learning
motivation and student learning outcomes in science subjects in class III of SD Negeri 1 Termas in Karangrayung District,
Grobogan Regency, Semester I 2016/2017 Academic Year. 2) To describe the impact of using media in the form of liquid,
gas and healthy environment in understanding science learning and its effects on student learning outcomes. The place
where Classroom Action Research is carried out is students in Class III of SD Negeri 1 Termas, Karangrayung District,
Grobogan Regency. This Classroom Action Research is carried out in the first semester of the 2016/2017 school year. The
conclusions of the results of learning improvements that researchers have carried out are as follows: 1) Through the
Demonstration Method motivation and learning outcomes of Science for Students in Class III of Termas 1 Elementary
School in Karangrayung District, Grobogan Regency in Semester I 2016/2017 Academic Year increased. 2) In the learning
outcomes of the improvement are: 1)) The number of pre-cycle 1200, Cycle II 1780 increased by 580 points. 2)) The
average score, pre-cycle 54.54, cycle II 80.90 increased by 26.36. 3)) The highest score of pre-cycle 70, cycle II 100
increased by 30. 4)) The lowest score of pre-cycle 40 in three children, cycle II 70 in nine children. 5)) Many students
complete, pre-cycle 3 people (13.63%), cycle II 22 people (100%). 5)) Students have not completed pre-cycle 19 people
(86.37%) cycle does not exist (0).
