UPAYA PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PKN MELALUI METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 3 GADEN TRUCUK KLATEN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Abstract

Abstract: Many of us encounter Civic learning in primary schools Primary school (SD) still use traditional and monotonous ways. Teachers only provide Civic materials by assigning tasks and reading only. So the actual goal of Civics learning can not be realized to the fullest. This results in bored students in the classroom. So that Civic learning is not successfully conveyed to the students. This also happened in SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten. In teaching activities, teachers use conventional methods more often, so students tend to be passive and quickly
bored. Therefore, the researcher wanted to test the problem based learning method in SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten. The purpose of this research is: to know efforts to improve the learning outcomes of Civics through the method of problem based learning in grade V SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten academic year 2016/2017. This research is a class action research (PTK) with the subject of research is the students of grade V of SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten academic year 2016/2017. Data collection method used in this research is test method, interview and observation. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive analysis. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning approach can improve the learning outcomes of Civics in grade V SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten, with the average before the action 66,58 cycles I 74,05 and in cycle II 79,63.

Abstrak: Banyak kita jumpai pembelajaran PKn di sekolah-sekolah utamanya jenjang sekolah Dasar (SD) masih menggunakan cara-cara tradisional dan monoton. Guru hanya memberikan materi PKn dengan memberikan tugas
dan membaca saja. Sehingga tujuan pembelajaran PKn yang sebenarnya belum dapat terwujud secara maksimal. Hal ini mengakibatkan peserta didik bosan di dalam kelas. Sehingga pembelajaran PKn tidak berhasil di sampaikan kepada peserta didik. Hal ini juga terjadi di SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten. Di dalam kegiatan mengajar, guru lebih sering menggunakan metode konvensional, sehingga siswa cenderung pasif dan cepat bosan. Oleh sebab itu peneliti ingin mengujicobakan metode problem based learning di SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk
Klaten. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatan hasil belajar PKn melalui  metode problem based learning pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa
kelas V SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Metode pengumpulan data yang diguanakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes, wawancara dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Gaden Trucuk Klaten, dengan rata-rata sebelum dilakukan tindakan 66,58 siklus I 74,05 dan pada siklus II 79,63.
