UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR AKUNTANSI MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN THINK PAIR SHARE DENGAN MEDIA MONOPOLI PADA KELAS X AK-2 SMK N 6 SURAKARTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015

Abstract


ABSTRAK


Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk apakah meningkatkan keaktifan belajar akuntansi melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media monopoli pada siswa kelas X AK 2 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta.

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek siswa kelas X AK-2 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu (a) perencanaan tindakan, (b) pelaksanaan tindakan, (c) observasi dan interpretasi, dan (d) analisis dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang dilakukan berasal dari guru, siswa, aktivitas pembelajaran, dan hasil tes siswa.Validitas instrumen yang digunakan adalah validitas isi, sedangkan validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi metode dan penyidik. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data teknik deskriptif komparatif dan teknik analisis kritis.

Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media monopoli dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan presentase keaktifan belajar siswa yang mengalami kenaikan dari pratindakan sampai siklus III. Pada siklus I keaktifan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 14,50% yaitu dari 50% menjadi 64,50%, pada siklus II keaktifan mengalami kenaikan sebesar  9,125%, yaitu dari 64,50% menjadi 73,625%, dan pada siklus III juga mengalami kenaikan keaktifan belajar sebesar 8,755%, yaitu dari 73,625% menjadi 82,38%. Pada siklus I tes hasil belajar siswa mengalami kenaikan sebesar 12,5%, yaitu dari 34,375% menjadi 46,875%, pada siklus II mengalami kenaikan sebesar 12,5%, yaitu dari 46,875% menjadi 59,375%, dan pada siklus III juga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 18,6%, yaitu dari 59,375% menjadi 78%.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning dan Think Pair Share dengan media monopoli dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar akuntansi pada kelas X AK-2 SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.

ABSTRACT

 

The objective of  this research  is to improve the Accounting learning activeness through the application of the problem based learning  (PBL)  and think pair share (TPS) models with monopoly media of the students  in grade X  AK-2 of State Vocational High School 6 Of Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015.

This research used the classroom  action research with three cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases i.e (a) planning, (b) implementation, (c) observation and interpreting, and (d) analyzing and refletion. The subjects of the research consisted of 32 students of the aforementioned school. The data of the research were collected trought in-depth interview, observation, test, and documentation. The sources of the research were teacher, students, learning activities and test result of the students. The instrument of  research were validited with the content validity, and the data were validited by using the method triangulation and investigator triangulation. The data were analyzed by using the comparative descriptive analyses technique and critical analyses techniques.

The results of  research are shows that the application of the PBL and TPS with monopoly media can improve the students’Accounting learning achievement as indicated by the increased percentage of  the students’Accounting activeness in pre-treatment through cycle III. In cycle, the students’Accounting achievement increases as much as 14,50% from 50% to 64,50%. In cycle II increases as much 9,125% from 64,50% to 73,625%. In cycle III, it increases as much 8,755% from 73,625% to 82,38%. %. In addition, the students’ test score average also improves from the pre-treatment through cycle III. In cycle I, the students’ test score average increases as much as 125% from 34,375% to 46,875%. In cycle II it increases as much as 12,5%  from 46,875% to 59,375%. Finally, in cycle III, it increases as much as 18,6% from 59,375%to 78%. Thus, the application of the problem based learning and think pair share models with monoply media can improve the Accounting learning activeness of the students in Grade X AK-2 of State Vocational High School 6 Of Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015.
