Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Investigation Through Cooperative Problem Solving (ITCPS) terhadap Self-Efficacy Siswa Kelas VII pada Materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup

Abstract


Abstract: Self-efficacy is important for students to have. In reality, the self-efficacy of students in Indonesia is still not optimal as evidenced by. One of the factors that cause students not to master self-efficacy is an ineffective learning model. Learning models that involve students more in learning activities and based on problem solving are considered effective enough to hone students' self-efficacy. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of the ITCPS learning model on student self-efficacy in science subjects on the classification of living things. This research was conducted at one of the Surakarta State Junior High Schools for 59 seventh-grade students in the 2023/2024 school year using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research data was obtained by giving a questionnaire statement to students, and then the data was analyzed using the ANACOVA test. The ANACOVA test results showed a significance value of 0.002 (α<0.05), so it can be concluded that the ITCPS learning model affects self-efficacy. This proves that learning models that involve students actively and based on problem solving are able to hone students' self-efficacy.

Abstrak: Rasa keyakinan diri atau self-efficacy penting untuk dimiliki oleh siswa. Pada kenyataannya, self-efficacy siswa di Indonesia masih belum maksimal yang terbukti dari. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan siswa belum menguasai self-efficacy adalah model pembelajaran yang kurang efektif. Model pembelajaran yang lebih banyak melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan berbasis penyelesaian masalah dirasa cukup efektif untuk mengasah self-efficacy siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ITCPS terhadap self-efficacy siswa pada mata Pelajaran IPA materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMP Negeri Surakarta pada 59 siswa kelas VII tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental design. Data penelitian didapatkan dengan memberikan angket pernyataan kepada siswa, yang kemudian data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ANACOVA. Hasil uji ANACOVA menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,002 (α<0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran ITCPS berpengaruh terhadap self-efficacy. Hal tersebut, membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan berbasis pemecahan masalah mampu mengasah self-efficacy siswa.
