KAJIAN PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN DI PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract


Pendidikan kewirausahaan semakin mendapatkan perhatian di seluruh negara pada berbagai belahan dunia, utamanya dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda untuk menghadapi pasar bebas. Dalam hal ini, pendidik memegang peranan penting untuk membentuk jiwa kewirausahaan mahasiswa, namun demikian untuk membawa misi agar mahasiswa berfikir dan bertindak secara enterpreneur memerlukan pengembangan kurikulum yang berkesinambungan. Pengembangan kurikulum dimaksudkan untuk memperbarui kurikulum yang telah ada ataupun menambahkan kompetensi dasar dan kompetensi lulusan agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan era global. Pada studi literatur jurnal pada beberapa negara dikemukakan bahwa untuk mengembangkan kurikulum pendidikan kewirausahaan diperlukan sinkronisasi antara sekolah dengan dunia bisnis agar dapat meminimalisasi kesenjangan materi yang diajarkan dengan praktik riil. Di samping itu perlu adanya keselarasan dengan kondisi sosial kemasyarakatan karena untuk mencetak seorang wirausahawan yang sukses adalah mereka yang mampu membaca peluang dan peka terhadap kebutuhan lingkungan sekitarnya. Diharapkan dengan adanya studi literatur ini mampu memberikan inspirasi mengenai pengembangan kurikulum kewirausahaan bagi perguruan tinggi agar mampu mencetak wirausahwan-wirausahawan muda berbasis ipteks.

Entrepreneurship education is increasingly gaining attention across the country in various parts of the world, particularly in preparing young people to face the free market. In this case, the educators play an important role in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of students, however, to bring the mission to make students think and act as entrepreneurs require continuous curriculum development. Curriculum development was intended to update the existing curriculum or adding basic competence and the competence of graduates to suit the needs of the development of the global era. In the journal literature in some countries argued that to develop entrepreneurship education curriculum required synchronization between schools and the business world in order to minimize the gap material being taught with real practices. In addition, the need for alignment with social conditions as to print an entrepreneur who succeed are those who are able to read the odds and sensitive to the needs of the surrounding environment. Hopefully, by the study of literature is able to inspire the entrepreneurial curriculum development for universities to be able to print wirausahwan science and technology-based young entrepreneurs.
