FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KINERJA GURU SMA NEGERI DI BALIKPAPAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Balikpapan Kota tahun 2015. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja adalah kemampuan mengajar, motivasi kerja, supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru secara parsial maupun secara serentak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitaif. Populasi penelitian ini guru SMA Negeri di Balikpapan Kota tahun 2015. Teknik pengumpulan data kemampuan mengajar, motivasi kerja, dan supervisi kepala sekolah dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Sedangkan untuk kinerja guru berupa dokumentasi. Untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian ini menggunakan uji t dan uji F. Hasil dalam penelitian  ini adalah secara parsial kemampuan mengajar dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri Balikpapan Kota sedangkan supervisi kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri Balikpapan Kota. Secara simultan kemampuan mengajar, motivasi kerja, dan supervisi kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to reveal factors that influence public senior high school teachers’ performance in Balikpapan Kota district. The factors are teaching ability, work motivation, and headmaster’s supervision towards teacher’s performance partially and simultaneously. The type of this research is quantitative. The research population is the teachers in the public senior high school in Balikpapan Kota district in 2015. The data collecting procedure of teaching ability, work motivation and the headmaster’s supervision was done by using the questionnaire and for the teacher’s performance was as the documentation file. The researcher uses the test T and test F in order to answer the objectives of research. The partially results of this research are teaching ability and work motivation give significant influences onto teachers’ performance in the public senior high school in Balikpapan Kota district. On the other hand, the headmaster’s supervision doesn’t influence the teachers’ performance in the public senior high school in Balikpapan Kota district. Simultantly, teaching ability, work motivation and the headmaster’s supervision influences positively and significantly toward the teacher’s capability.
