PEMAHAMAN KONSEP BANGUN RUANG MELALUI PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to improve understanding geometry concept through Realistic Mathematic Educations on the fourth grade students of the elementary school. This research was classroom actions research with using cycles model. This research is held in two cycles, each cycles consists of three seassons. Each cycles includes planning, actions, observation, and reflection. The result of the research can be concluded that the application of Realistic Mathematic Educations Educations can improve the comprehension geometry concept on the fourth grade students of the elementary school.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang melalui penerapan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik pada peserta didik kelas IV. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang pada peserta didik kelas IV.
