PENGARUH METODE INQUIRY DISCOVERY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to know influence of the Inquiry Discovery method toward mathematics learning outcomes. This research belong to a quantitative analyzing. The population of this research is all student at the fifth grade Elementary School of Dabin I sub-district of Cawas, according to using cluster random sampling techniques found three school as sample research. The technique for collection of data used documentations, observation and test. Normality test using the Chi Kuadrat test method, homogeniety test using the Bartllet method. Balance test and hypotheses method using t-test method. Based on the analysis data, the result of this research is gotten with score t count > t table (2,8015 > 2,0105), so that Ho rejected. Therefore, there are differences of the result of positive learning and the significant of the implementation of Inquiry Discovery method with the implementation of discussion method.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran Inquiry Discovery terhadap hasil belajar Matematika. Penelitian ini berbentuk kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri se-Dabin I Kecamatan Cawas, berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling didapat tiga sekolah yang akan dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, observasi dan tes. Uji normalitas menggunakan metode Chi Kuadrat, uji homogenitas menggunakan metode Bartllet, uji keseimbangan dan uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji t. Berdasarkan  analisis data hasil penelitian diperoleh skor t hitung > t tabel (2,8015>2,0105), sehingga Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang positif dan signifikan penerapan metode Inquiry Discovery dibanding dengan penerapan metode diskusi.
