PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNINGDI KELAS 5 SD

Abstract


Abstract. The purpose of this study is to determine the increased activity and learning outcomes of science through Problem Based Learning model on 5th grade students SDN Kutowingun 11 semester 2 2017/2018. The design of this study is a classroom action research (PTK). Technique of collecting data by doing observation and evaluation. The data collection instrument uses an observation sheet, written test and multiple choice. Quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the average cycle data of students' active activity (3.30) has reached the indicator of liveliness success (2.50). The students' learning activity is improved by the value of pre-cycle activity with average (2.20), in cycle I (2.61) and on cycle II (3.30). Improvement of science learning outcomes of 5th grade students Kutowinangun 11 before taking action there are 9 students (41%) complete. Before the action of students in the category of not complete as much as 13 (59%), after the action was given in the first cycle was reduced to 6 students (27%) is not complete. After the action was given in cycle I, there was an increase to 16 students (73%) complete. In cycle II there was an increase to 22 students (100%) complete.

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPA melalui model Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas 5 SDN Kutowingun 11 semester 2 2017/2018.Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi dan evaluasi.Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, tes tertulis dan pilihan ganda.Teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data siklus II rata-rata keaktifan siswa (3,30) sehingga telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan keaktifan yaitu (2,50). Keaktifan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari nilai keaktifan pra siklus dengan rata-rata (2,20), pada siklus I (2,61) dan pada siklus II (3,30). Peningkatan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas 5Kutowinangun 11 sebelum melakukan tindakan terdapat 9 siswa (41%) tuntas.Sebelum dilakukan tindakan siswa dalam kategori tidak tuntas sebanyak 13 (59%), setelah tindakan diberi pada siklus I berkurang menjadi 6 siswa (27%) tidak tuntas.Setelah tindakan diberikan pada siklus I, terjadi peningkatan menjadi 16 siswa (73%) tuntas. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 22 siswa (100%) tuntas.
