PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PPKN DAN KEAKTIFAN SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING

Abstract


Abstract : This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve students' learning outcomes and activities on PPKn subjects by using Problem Based Learning learning model in grade XII students Geomatika SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga. This classroom action research is conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three stages including: planning, implementation of action and observation, and reflection. Cycle 1 and cycle II are held twice. Technique of collecting data using observation and test. Data analysis technique using comparative descriptive technique. In the initial condition, the students 'learning achievement that reaches a minimum of ≥ 75 is only 8 students (22.2%) and the remaining 28 students (78.8%) are not complete KKM, while the students' activity at the initial condition is only 8.67% (8 active students ). After the implementation of Problem Based Learning model of learning cycle 1, the students 'learning achievement increased by 23 students (63.89%) and students who did not complete 13 students (36.11%), the average of students' activity in cycle 1 reached 56 , 94% (20 active students). Then on the second cycle there is an increase again, student learning outcomes reached KKM that is 36 students (100%), and the average activity of students increased is 90.74% (33 active students).

Abstrak : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas XII Geomatika SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga tahap meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan  dan pengamatan, serta  refleksi. Siklus 1 dan siklus II dilaksanakan dua kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif komparatif. Pada kondisi awal hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan minimal ≥ 75 hanya 8 siswa (22,2%) dan sisanya 28 siswa (78,8%)  tidak tuntas KKM, sedangkan keaktifan siswa pada kondisi awal hanya 8,67% (8 siswa aktif). Setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada siklus 1 hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai KKM meningkat yaitu 23 siswa (63,89%) dan siswa yang tidak tuntas 13 siswa (36,11%), rata-rata keaktifan siswa pada siklus 1 mencapai 56,94% (20 siswa aktif). Kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan lagi, hasil belajar siswa mencapai KKM yaitu 36 siswa (100%), serta rata-rata keaktifan siswa meningkat  yaitu 90,74% (33 siswa aktif).
