ANALISIS KESALAHAN DAN PEMBERIAN SCAFFOLDING PADA PENYELESAIAN SOAL CERITA PERSAMAAN LINEAR SATU VARIABEL BAGI SISWA KELAS VII

Abstract


Abstract : This study aims to describe the form of student error in solving the problem of linear equations of one variable based on Newman's stages and the giving of scaffolding. The technique of taking the subject using purposive sampling. The subject of this research is 3 students of class VII A. The result of the research shows that the most errors are V (Ecoding Error) with error percentage 41%, error on type 4 (Reading Error) 4% type II, Type II (Reading Comprehensive difficulty) type III (type III (Reading Comprehensive difficulty) Transform Error) of 12%, and Type IV (Weakness in Process Skill) by 35%. which is then given scaffolding. In type I error (Reading Error) given scaffolding reviewing, type II error (Reading Comprehension difficulty) given scaffolding reviewing) and restructuring, type III error (Transform Error) given scaffolding reviewing and restructuring, type IV error (Weakness in Process Skill) is given scaffolding explaining, reviewing and restructuring, and on the error type V (Econding Error) is given scaffolding reviewing and restructuring

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita persamaan linear satu variabel berdasarkan tahapan Newman dan pemberian  scaffolding. Teknik pengambilan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa kelas VII A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan paling banyak dilakukan siswa adalah tipe V (Ecoding Error) dengan persentase kesalahan 41%, kesalahan pada tipe lain yaitu tipe I (Reading Error) sebesar 4%, tipe II (Reading Comprehension difficulty) sebesar 9%, tipe III (Transform Error) sebesar 12%, dan tipe IV (Weakness in Process Skill) sebesar 35%. yang selanjutnya diberikan scaffolding. Pada kesalahan tipe I (Reading Error) diberikan scaffolding reviewing, tipe kesalahan II (Reading Comprehension difficulty) diberikan scaffolding reviewing) dan restructuring, tipe kesalahan III (Transform Error) diberikan scaffolding reviewing dan restructuring, tipe kesalahan IV (Weakness in Process Skill) diberikan scaffolding explaining, reviewing dan restructuring, dan pada tipe kesalahan V (Econding Error) diberikan scaffolding reviewing dan restructuring
