ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan penilaian portofolio dalam asesmen perkembangan motorik halus anak di TK se-Gugus Arjuna Kecamatan Jatipurno. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini secara deskriptif yang didasarkan pada analisis interaktif data kualitatif. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara konseptual pemahaman guru tentang portofolio sebagai instrumen penilaian di TK sudah cukup baik dan bervariasi. Prosedur pelaksanaan penilaian portofolio di TK se-Gugus Arjuna Kecamatan Jatipurno hampir sesuai dengan teori.  Penerapan penilaian portofolio dalam asesmen perkembangan motorik halus anak di TK efektif untuk mengoleksi hasil karya anak dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak, namun penerapan penilaian portofolio ini juga tidak sepenuhnya berjalan optimal.Guru belum menciptakan proses penilaian portofolio yang efektif sehingga kualitas penilaian portofolio di lokasi penelitian belum mencerminkan proses penilaian portofolio yang efektif di kelas.

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the implementation of portfolio assessment of fine motor development of children in kindergartens throughout the Arjuna Cluster District Jatipurno. This study used a descriptive-qualitative approach with case study method. Data analysis techniques used in the study is descriptive based on interactive analysis of qualitative data. Results of the analysis showed that conceptually teacher’s understanding of the portfolio as an assessment instrument in kindergarten has been good enough and varied. Procedures for implementing the portfolio assessment in kindergarten throughout the Arjuna Cluster District Jatipurno almost consistent with the theory. The implementation of portfolio assessment in the assessment of fine motor development of children kindergartens effective for collecting children's work and increase children's motivation to learn,  however the implementation portfolio assessment in the assessment of fine motor development have not been fully optimized. The teacher has not created an effective portfolio assessment process so  the quality of portfolio assessment in the study site has not reflected the portfolio assessment process effective in the classroom.
