Pengaruh Fasilitas Belajar Siswa dan Komunikasi Interpersonal Guru dengan Siswa terhadap Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the significant effect of learning facility on learning achievement of the students in Grade XI of Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2013/2014; (2) the significant effect of interpersonal communication between teachers and students on learning achievement of the students in Grade XI of Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2013/2014; and (3) the simultaneously significant effect of learning facility and interpersonal communication between teachers and students on learning achievement of the students in Grade XI of Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2013/2014. This research used the descriptive quantitative research method. Its population was all of the students as many as 72 persons in Grade XI of Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2013/2014. The samples of the research consisted of 42 students, and they were taken by means of proportional random sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire and documentation. They were analyzed by using the multiple regression analysis aided with the computer program of SPSS 17. The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant effect of learning facility on learning achievement of the students in Grade XI of Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2013/2014 as indicated by the value of t_cou­nt = 2.447 which is greater than that of t_table = 2.023; (2) there is a significant effect of  interpersonal communication between teachers and students on learning achievement of the students in Grade XI of Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2013/2014 as indicated by the value of t_count = 2.441 which is greater than that of t_table = 2.023; and (3) there is a simultaneously significant effect of learning facility and interpersonal communication between teachers and students on learning achievement of the students in Grade XI of Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in Academic Year 2013/2014 as signified by the value of F_count = 8.270 which is greater than that of F_table = 3.238. The regression equation of research is Ỷ = 5.456 + 0.011 X₁ + 0.023 X₂. The relative contribution of learning facility (X₁) is 50.73%, and that of interpersonal communication between teachers and students (X₂) is 49.25%. The effective contribution of learning facility is 15.12%, and that of interpersonal communication between teachers and students is 14.67%.
