EVALUASI DIRI MAHASISWA TERHADAP KOMPETENSI YANG DIMILIKI

Abstract

This study aims to find out the results of the students' self-evaluation on their retained competence. This survey belongs to descriptive, quantitative, comparative, and associative research. The subjects of the study are 34 students of Automotive Engineering, D3 Vocational Program of Engineering Faculty of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The data were collected by using questionnaire and documents. The data were analyzed with descriptive and non-parametric statistics. The result shows that the average score of the students' self-evaluation on their automotive competence was 2.9667. Of the five groups of expertise, the motor group got the highest score (3.18), and the chassis group got the lowest (2.56). The students' self- evaluation on automotive expertise has no correlation to their learning achievement in each final semester (thit = -0.6573 < ttab = 2.0336).
