Abstract


The purpose of this research is to know Elementary thematic teachers in Semarang district perception to the higher order thinking skills in punctuation  learning. Questionnaire and interview are used as data collection technique. Data analysis was taken by qualitative and quantitative by percentage. The result of the research shows 79% teachers give response sometimes they make learning punctuation preparation, 61% they seldom doing spelling learning, 57% they integrated higher order thinking skills in punctuation learning, and 51% they usually measure higher order thinking skills in punctuation learning evaluation. The conclusion of this research is Elementary thematic teachers in Semarang district less in integrated between higher order thinking skills and punctuation learning in thematic learning.
