MEMBANGUN KARAKTER DENGAN TEATER
Abstract
The threat to the younger generation in this case secondary school students is increasingly worrying. Therefore, there is a need to foster the character of students who not only ward off these threats but prepare them as future generations who are ready to face the globalized world. To accommodate this, learning in schools must be able to develop characters that can enrich students' experiences and make them more responsive to the surrounding nature and environment. Because thus, when in society they can not only understand themselves and the surrounding environment but can also develop themselves in the community. The activity that accommodates this is theater. In addition to exploring some potentials, theater can develop the values of the character of the young generation specifically school students such as discipline, patience, controlling emotions, working together and others.
