Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this class action research is an effort to improve the learning outcomes of science about how to breed plants for the sixth grade students of Sendangharjo 4 State Elementary School through experimental methods with small plant props. The frame of mind proposed is that if the teacher in the sixth grade of Sendangharjo State Elementary School 4 through an experimental method with small plant props to improve the learning outcomes of science. The hypothesis of this research action is the use of concrete teaching aids and experimental methods can improve science learning achievement. The learning improvement research was carried out in two cycles on Friday, September 9 2016 for the first cycle and Wednesday, September 14 2016 for the second cycle. The results show that there is an increase that before the cycle of 38.10%, Cycle I as much as 61.90% and Cycle II as much as 95.24% of the sixth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Sendangharjo can find out how to breed plants.
