Abstract

Abstract: The learning outcomes of students' long jump still do not meet the KKM. This study aims to describe the process of improving long jump learning outcomes through the rope jumping approach to fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Muruh Gantiwarno District, Klaten Regency. This research is a classroom action research. Subjects in this study were fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Muruh, Gantiwarno Subdistrict, Klaten Regency with a total of 20 students. The instrument used is a long jump performance test. Data analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative and quantitative descriptive. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that efforts to increase the results of long jump through playing rope jumping on fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Muruh Gantiwarno District, Klaten Regency have been successfully marked by an increase in the average value of students. The average score of students in pre-action activities was 55.94 with a percentage of completeness of 40%. This condition experienced an increase in the average value of students in the first cycle which was 65.63 and the percentage of completeness was 60%. However, the increase still has not reached the target set before. Then after continuing to cycle II the average value of the long jump of students returned to an increase of 70.50 with a percentage of completeness of 90%. This shows that the predetermined target has been reached so that the study is stopped in cycle II. The long jump learning process uses a dynamic and fun playing approach. Students actively carry out tasks and observe the long jump technique movement and
mutual discussion with friends. All aspects of assessment are controlled by students. The long jump ability of students increases by being marked by all students completing the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) which is 67.
