Abstract


Citizenship Education is carried out in education units referring to process standards and paying attention to the nature of teaching them. Thus the understanding of each KD is very important so that the estuary of learning Citizenship Education is to be implemented in daily life in the school and community. Concretely learning Citizenship Education Subjects are carried out with an active, creative, effective and enjoyable process (PAKEM) and bring optimal results which means learning outcomes both quantitatively and qualitatively. That is, students, succeed / complete by exceeding the KKM value and can apply it in social life (after understanding is lived and implemented/practiced). On the basis of the low acquisition of learning outcomes of Citizenship Education Subjects, especially in the Competency Standards Respecting fighting values in the formulation process of Pancasila as the National Foundation, the authors apply Cooperative Learning with the Jigsaw Model in learning. This is done in the hope of improving learning outcomes and also learning motivation for students.
Implementation of learning improvements with the jigsaw model states good or successful things. The statement implies that learning cannot be separated from evaluation to determine student learning achievement. And in learning with the implementation of the type of jigsaw cooperative that the author has carried out, it can be stated the results of self-reflection to know directly the shortcomings of the advantages of both students and teachers who teach. Based on the results of discussions with colleagues, the learning that has been carried out has shown
progress. This is indicated by the success of students who can master Pkn subject matter more than 75%. This is based on students who meet the minimum completeness criteria by getting a minimum score of 70. From the description, there is the success in improving learning.
