Abstract


The purpose of this study was to find out how the learning outcomes of class VII B students of Cawas 2 Public Middle School. The study subjects consisted of 23 students. The instrument used to measure the activity of teachers and students in teaching and learning activities is by using measurements, while to measure learning
outcomes is by cognitive, affective and psychomotor tests. This research was carried out in two cycles. The stages in this study are classroom action research actions, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The research data was analyzed using percentage techniques where in the
cycle I the level of completeness of teacher activity in the implementation of new activities reached 72.72% and increased in cycle II to 100%, for data on student learning 70% and the average in cycle II to 90% this has exceeded the standard based on the minimum completeness criteria of 85%. While the learning outcomes of
students in the first cycle only reached 65.22% increased in the second cycle to 91.30% or have reached the level of learning mastery set by the school which is 75%. Thus it can be concluded that the training method can improve the learning outcomes of volleyball under passing students of class VII B of Cawas State Junior High
School 2 in Klaten.
