PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM GAME TOURNAMENT (TGT) PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve science process skill through TGT learning model. This research was conducted in the fourth grade students in the class of SD Negeri Klero 02 by using classroom action research method (PTK). PTK activities are conducted in four stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results show that the TGT learning model improves the skills of the science process. The increase can be seen through the results of student observations on pre cycles of 35% of students interested. The first cycle of the first meeting is 69% and the second meeting is 72%. Cycle II of the first meeting is 78% and the second meeting is 88%.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains melalui model pembelajaran TGT. Penelitian ini dilakukan di pada  siswa kelas IV di kelas SD Negeri Klero 02 dengan menggunakan  metode penelitian  tindakan kelas (PTK). Kegiatan PTK dilakukan dalam empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat melalui hasil observasi siswa pada pra siklus 35%  siswa tertarik. Siklus I  pertemuan pertama yaitu  69% dan pertemuan ke dua yaitu 72% . Siklus II pertemuan pertama yaitu 78% dan pertemuan ke dua yaitu  88%.
