PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DAN DISCOVERY LEARNING SISWA KELAS 4 SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to seek improvement of science learning outcomes through STAD type cooperative learning model and Discovery Learning. The subjects of this study are 4th grade students of SD Negeri 02 Klepu consisting of 24 students. This research is a Classroom Action Research with data collection technique which is done using test and non test technique. The success indicator used in this research is if the classical result of student learning reach KKM equal to 85% from total of student. The results of this study indicate that the results of student learning on the pre cycle of 42% of students is not complete. Through the model of cooperative learning type STAD and Discovery Learning student learning outcomes in the first cycle there are 79% of students complete with an average value of 72 and on the second cycle student learning results increased to 92% of students complete and the average value increased to 80. Based The percentage of completeness in cycle II shows has exceeded the indicator of success, so it can be concluded that the increase of science learning outcomes can be pursued through STAD type cooperative learning model and Discovery Learning 4th grade students of SD Negeri 02 Klepu

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengupayakan peningkatan hasil belajar IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan Discovery Learning. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri 02 Klepu yang terdiri dari 24 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Indikator keberhasilan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu apabila secara klasikal hasil belajar siswa mencapai KKM sebesar 85% dari keseluruhan jumlah siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus sebesar 42% siswa tidak tuntas. Melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan Discovery Learning hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I terdapat 79% siswa tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 72 dan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 92% siswa tuntas serta nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 80. Bedasarkan persentase ketuntasan pada siklus II menunjukkan telah melebihi indikator keberasilan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar IPA dapat diupayakan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan Discovery Learning siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri 02 Klepu.
