Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are one of the important agendas prepared by many countries to achieve human prosperity. In achieving the SDGs, education for sustainable development (ESD) is one of the issues that plays a big role in achieving the SDGs. To find out what steps need to be taken to achieve the SDGs pillars, a literature review of the results of research related to the SDGs that has been carried out is needed. The aim of this research is to find out topics that are often researched in research related to SDGs in science learning, as well as developments in SDGs research in science learning from 2019 to 2024. The research method used is descriptive research with a bibliometric approach. A total of 313 articles were obtained using Publish or Perish (PoP) software and selected according to the keyword "Sustainable Development Goals in science learning". The research results show that various studies have been carried out integrating the SDGs into science learning, with various topics ranging from formulating appropriate science learning designs, various methods and strategies for preparing teachers, as well as developing teaching materials including culture-based ones with the aim of achieving the SDGs. From year to year, research related to SDGs is increasingly directed at implementing SDGs in learning, which is a form of Education for Sustainable Development. It is necessary to develop a science learning model that aims to achieve SDGs targets by connecting it to existing local culture. Research related to SDGs in science learning still has many opportunities, especially developing learning with clear stages.
