PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA DIORAMA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH BERBASIS KONSTRUKTIVIS-KOLABORATIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA NEGERI 3 SIDOARJO

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the learning media used in the History learning at State Senior Secondary School 3 of Sidoarjo currently; (2) the development of the collaborative constructivist-based diorama media in the History learning to improve creativity of the
students of State Senior Secondary School 3 of Sidoarjo; (3) the effectiveness of the developed collaborative constructivist-based diorama media in the History learning to improve creativity of the
students of State Senior Secondary School 3 of Sidoarjo;.
This research used the development research method. It employed the hypothetic model adopted form the ADDIE model with five stages of
development, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product produced was diorama media attempted by the students. There were six themes determined by their
teacher. The data of research were gathered through in-depth interview, observation, questionnaire, and test. The results of in-depth interview and observation were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively, and
those of questionnaire and test were analyzed
quantitatively. The results of research show that: (1) the
use of learning media in the History subject matter learning of the students in Grade 3 of MIA is not innovative and various; (2) the development of the
collaborative constructivist-based diorama media is done through the stages of ADDIE model with some validations and revisions so as to produce the diorama media in the History subject matter learning
as the result of work of the students in Grade 3 of MIA of State Senior Secondary School 3 of Sidoarjo; (3) the effectiveness the of the developed
collaborative constructivist-based diorama media is tested by comparing the score of post-test of the experimental class to that of the control class at the significance level of 5%, and the result of test on the
creativity of the students shows that the value of tcount (9.40) is greater than that of ttable (2.00), meaning that Ho is rejected. Thus, a conclusion is drawn that the collaborative constructivist-based diorama media in
the History learning is effective for improving creativity of the students of State Senior Secondary School 3 of Sidoarjo.
