IMPLEMENTASI NILAI-NILAI PERJUANGAN PANGERAN NUKU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH (Studi Kasus di SMA Negeri 2 Ternate)

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the planning of
history learning through the implementation of the values of struggle of Prince Nuku; (2)
the implementation of history learning through the implementation of the values of
struggle of Prince Nuku; (3) the evaluation on history learning through the
implementation of the values of struggle of Prince Nuku; and (4) the constraints
encountered in history learning through the implementation of the values of struggle of
Prince Nuku at State Senior Secondary School 2 of Ternate. This research used the
qualitative method. The results of research are as follows: 1) The planning of history
learning implements the values of struggle of Prince Nuku in which the teacher makes
learning instruments which include yearly program, semester program, syllabus, and
lesson plans. The values of struggle of Prince Nuku are adjusted to the social values and
national characters. 2) History learning is conducted through the implementation of the
values of struggle of Prince Nuku by using lecturing method, discussion, question and
answer, and problem-based learning strategy. The values of struggle of Prince Nuku are
also implemented in the Forum of Local history Studies by history teachers and guest
speakers. 3) The evaluation on history learning through the implementation of the values
of struggle of Prince Nuku is done through test and non-test ones. The success indicators
of the implementation of the values of struggle of Prince Nuku are exemplification,
plurality acceptance, willingness to sacrifice, and priority to the collective interest as well
as concern for historical sites. 4) The constraints encountered history learning through the
implementation of the values of struggle of Prince Nuku at State Senior Secondary
School 2 of Ternate are the lack of learning resources and media and the learners’ low
learning motivations. The efforts to deal with them include encouraging, motivating, and
inviting the learners to utilize the surrounding environments as the learning resources.
