PENGARUH MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION DAN READING GUIDE TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SEJARAH DITINJAU DARI MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA KELAS X DI SMAN Se-Kota BANTUL TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

This study aims to determine: 1) whether there is an influential difference between the Group Investigation and Reading Guide model to the learning achievement of history, 2) whether there is an influential difference in high learning interest and low learning interest to the learning achievement of history, 3) whether there is an influential interaction between learning methods and learning interests to the learning achievement of history. This research is a quantitative research by using experimental methods. This experimental research use 2 X 2 factorial study design. Population in this study were students of class X in SMAN of Bantul in the academic year 2014/2015. The sampling technique used the Multi Stage Cluster Random Sampling. In this study, the independent variables are Group Investigation and Reading Guide learning models. The dependent variable is the learning achievement of history. The data collection were used by achievement test and questionnaire. Validation of the instrument used Product Moment while reliability was calculated by using Cronbach Alpha. The normality test used Kolmorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test used Levene Test. The data analysis was used by ANOVA by two-ways with a significance level of 0.05.The experimental results could be summarized as follows: 1) there is a significantly difference in the learning achievement of history between students who learn by using group investigation model and reading guide model. Group Investigation turned out better learning achievement or more effective than Reading Guide learning model Fhitung 5,130 > Ftabel 4,00. 2) there is a differrence of the learning achievement of history between having high interest in learning history with a low interest in learning history Fhitung 6,043 > Ftabel atau 4,00. 3) ) there is no significant interaction between learning models and interest in learning the learning achievement of history Fab 0,182 < Ftabel 4,00.
