Abstract


Abstract: The purpose of the research is to enhance the counting fraction ability using problem based learning method. The research type is class action research, it consists two action cycles. Each cycle has 4 steps, they are planning, implementing, observing and reflection. The collecting data technique uses observation; documentation, and test. The data analysis technique uses Milles Huberman’s interactive model analysis. The data validity uses triangulation source and triangulation method. Based on the research outcome’s it concluded that using problem based learning, there is an improvement fraction counting ability encloses teacher activity assessment and the outcome of students fraction counting ability using PBL.

 

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung pecahan melalui model problem based learning.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari 2 siklus tindakan. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif Milles Huberman. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model problem based learning adanya peningkatan kemampuan menghitung pecahan meliputi penilaian terhadap aktivitas guru serta hasil kemampuan menghitung pecahan pada siswa melalui model problem based learning.
