PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA TENTANG PYTHAGORAS DENGAN METODE STUDENT TEAM ACHIVEMENT DEVISION

Abstract

Abstract : Classroom Action Research on students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanon Class VIII E Semster I Academic Year 2013/2014 with the following objectives: 1 ) To determine the extent of the application of the method Achivement Devisious Student Team ( STAD ) can improve the competence of Learning Mathematics Class VIII Semester I. 2 ) How to pen - erapan method of Student Team Achievement in a Mathematics lesson Devi-sions E Class VIII Semester 2 Tanon junior high . 3 ) Find the obstacles and ways of practicing pengatasannya Student Team Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) .This study uses the class action steps to plan , bring about the action or execution , observation and reflection . In this study, no samples , because the implementation of a rig-orous class at all . While the data collection techniques with tests , interviews , direct observation and analysis of data is an interactive analysis .Of the total cycle that has been done can be concluded that the use of Stu - dents team method Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) has been able to increase the competence of learning mathemat-ics , can identify and solve the existing problems with the way the selection of materials , the use of appropriate media and restrictions on the time of learning Mathematics .
Abstrak : Penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanon Kelas VIII E Semster I Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 dengan tujuan : 1) Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan metode Student Team Achivement De-visious (STAD) dapat meningkatkan kompetensi Belajar Matematika Kelas VIII Semester I. 2) Cara penerapan metode Student Team Achievement Devisions dalam pembelajaran Matematika Kelas VIII E Semester I SMP negeri 2 Tanon. 3) Menemukan kendala dan cara pengatasannya dalam penerapan metode Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD). Penelitian ini menggunakan tindakan kelas dengan langkah-langkah menyusun rencana, mengadakan tindakan atau pelaksanaan, observasi dan Refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini tidak ada sampel, sebab dalam pelaksanaan satu kelas di teliti semua. Sedangkan tehnik pengumpulan data dengan tes, wawancara, observasi secara langsung serta analisa data adalah analisa interaktif. Dari keseluruhan siklus yang telah dil-akukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode Students team Achievement Divisions (STAD) telah mampu meningkatkan kompetensi belajar Matematika, dapat mengetahui dan mengatasi kendala yang ada dengan cara pemilihan materi , penggunaan media yang tepat dan pembatasan waktu pada pembelajaran Ma-tematika.
