Abstract


The purpose of the research is to describe and examine the improvement of skills in mastering learning
principles through performance appraisal for teachers of Selo 3 Public Elementary School, Tawangharjo District,
Grobogan Regency in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. This school action research was carried out
at SD Negeri 3 Selo, Tawangharjo District, Grobogan Regency. This school action research was carried out in the
first semester of the 2016/2017 school year precisely in August, September and October 2016. Based on the results
of the study it can be concluded that through the assessment of the performance of the teacher's ability to master the
principles of learning that educate in SD Negeri 3 Selo, Tawangharjo District, Grobogan Regency can increase. The
increase was: 1. The pre-cycle to the first cycle, the average percentage of the increase was 24.97%. 2. From cycle I
to cycle II, the average percentage increase is 25.60%. 3. From the pre-cycle to the second cycle the average
percentage increased by 50.57%.
