PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS PUISI DENGAN METODE FIELD TRIP PADA SISWA SMP

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research is improving the quality process and the result of students writing poetry on Class 8 D of SMP Negeri 3 Jatisrono with using filed trip method. This research was classroom action research two cycles. Each cycles consist of planning, implementing measures, observation and interpretation, as well as analysis and reflection. The result show that thought applying field trip method can improving the quality process and the result of students writing poetry from pre cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. Improving occurred on cycle I. The motivation and the effectiveness students in following learning writing poetry was increasing however not yet reach the criteria was expected. Implementation cycle II the value of students writing poetry was increasing can be seeing in successes presentation of cycle I as big as 57,57% increase in the second cycle to 93.93%, while the percentage of successful assessment learning process of writing poetry in the first cycle as big as 63.60% increased to 84.80%.

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil menulis puisi siswa kelas 8 D SMP Negeri 3 Jatisrono dengan menggunakan metode field trip. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan interpretasi, serta analisis dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode field trip dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil menulis puisi siswa dari prasiklus ke siklus I dan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Peningkatan terjadi mulai pada siklus I. Motivasi dan keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menulis puisi meningkat walaupun belum mencapai kriteria yang diharapkan. Pelaksanaan siklus II nilai menulis puisi siswa meningkat yaitu dapat dilihat dari persentase keberhasilan siklus I sebesar 57,57% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 93,93%, sedangkan persentase keberhasilan penialian proses pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siklus I sebesar 63,60% meningkat menjadi 84,80%.
