ASPEK KEJIWAAN TOKOH DALAM NOVEL SEBELAS PATRIOT KARYA ANDREA HIRATA

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of the research are to learn aspect of psychological character in the novel Sebelas Patriot by Andre Hirata using psychology literature review. This research form of qualitative descriptive by using content analysis strategy. The data sources used in the form of document. Sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data collection techniques using triangulation theory. Techniques of data analysis using flow model analysis. The research showed that the analysis can be obtained characterizations in the novel idea of the psychological processes of each character is influenced by factor both inside and outside factor. Through analysis of characterizations by using the approach of literary psychology, mental processes of characters each character can be understood and can provide realistic effect in this work. Psychology literature novel Sebelas Patriot by Andrea Hirata can give a characterization of each character. Mental processes of his characters can be understood through the deepening of the theory of Sigmund Freud (id, ego and super ego) that can describe the atmosphere and mood of the characters. This is not separated from the author's ability to describe the disposition in which there are figures in his work. The conclusions of this study is the psychological aspect of the characters in the novel Sebelas Patriot by Andrea Hirata can be reviewed using the review of psychology literature.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi aspek kejiwaan dalam novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andre Hirata dengan tinjauan psikologi sastra. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan strategi psikologi sastra. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah analisis dokumen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan triangulasi teori. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis model aliran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis penokohan dalam dari proses psikologis masing-masing tokoh dipengaruhi oleh faktor dalam dan faktor luar. Melalui analisis karakter dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra, proses mental dari karakter masing-masing tokoh dapat dipahami dan dapat memberikan efek realistis. Aspek kejiwaan dalam novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata dapat ditunjukkan dari karakter masing-masing tokohnya. Proses mental tokoh-tokohnya dapat dipahami melalui pendalaman teori Sigmund Freud (id, ego, dan super ego) yang dapat menggambarkan suasana dan suasana hati karakter. Hal ini tidak lepas dari kemampuan penulis untuk menggambarkan disposisi, yaitu ada tokoh dalam karyanya. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah aspek kejiwaan tokoh dalam novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata dapat ditinjau dengan menggunakan tinjauan psikologi sastra.
