PENINGKATAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP GAYA MAGNET MELALUI MODEL PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PjBL)

Abstract


Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve concept mastery of the magnetic energy through project-based learnig model. This research used a classroom action research method with 2 cycles. The research subject is the fifth grade students of State Elementary School of Wates Nganjuk in the academic year 2013/2014 consist of 23 students. Its data were gathered through observation, in-depth interview, documentation, and test. The data were then analyzed by using an interactive model of analysis. The average score of class before action (pre-cycle) is 68,02; in cycle I the average score improves to 75.36; and in cycle II improves to 80.69. Based on the results of the analysis, a conclusion is drawn that using project-based learning model can improve concept mastery of the magnetic energy for the fifth grade students of State Primary School of Wates Nganjuk in the academic year 2013/2014.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan penguasaan konsep gaya magnet melalui model project-based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Wates Nganjuk yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisisnya adalah model analisis interaktif. Nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu pratindakan sebesar 68,02; siklus I naik menjadi 75,36 dan pada siklus II naik menjadi 80,69. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model project-based learning  dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep gaya magnet pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Wates Nganjuk tahun ajaran 2013/2014.
