Abstract


Implementation Of Cooperative Learning Model Jigsaw Type And Multimedia Systems For Improving Understanding Concept Of Central Government System In Citizenship Education. The purpose of this study was to improve understanding concept of the central government system in the citizenship education through the implementation of cooperative learning model in jigsaw type and multimedia at the fourth grade students in SDN 1 Tempursari Sambi Boyolali in academic year 2011/2012. The form of this research was classroom action research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used documentation, interviews, observations, and tests.  The techniques of data analysis used analytical interactive model that consists of three components, they are the analysis of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. Implementation of cooperative learning model in jigsaw type and multimedia can enhance the understanding of the central government system at the fourth grade students in SDN 1 Tempursari Sambi Boyolali in academic year 2011/2012.
