Abstract


The purpose of this research are find out what the effect of rehearsal and interference on retention in mathematics learning student of fourth grade Elementary School in District Puring. This research used experimental method. Analysis of the data using two-way analysis of variance to test the hypothesis by Scheffe test, which previously held test requirements analysis includes tests of normality using Chi Square test is used to test the state of the sample distribution, and homogeneity test using the Bartlett test. Based on the results of the research  can be included that there is effect of rehearsal and interference in improving retention in mathematics learning student of fourth grade Elementary School in District Puring.
